1964-66 Mustang
MINI Sub-Frame Kit
The newest addition to CPP’s front suspension line...the Mustang kit! At the heart of this innovative kit is the 1/4” steel crossmember that bolts to the chassis in place of the factory strut rod mounts, eliminating the factory strut rods, and adding adjustable forward control arm mounts. Also included are CPP’s new tubular upper and lower control arms and new ball joints. Options include new spring perches, coil springs, shocks, spindles, and disc brakes. This kit adds stability, alignability, improved steering response and over 2” of ground clearance for your early Mustang.
By eliminating the binding action caused by the factory strut rods you are able to maintain proper wheel alignment and gain a free working up and down motion in the lower control arm. The results are better ride quality and positive road feedback. The Mini Sub-Frame accommodates both factory and aftermarket sway bars, power and manual steering and even allows the use of aftermarket rack & pinion systems. The installation is incredibly simple, and is usually completed in about four hours. The one-piece crossmember ties both frame rails together by bolting in where the factory strut rod mounts were located, providing additional strength. There is no cutting or welding required. The rear of the lower control arm mounts in the factory location. The front of the lower control mounts to the new crossmember and adds a forward caster adjustment accomplished using an eccentric cam found on the 1967-1970 Mustangs. The entire assembly occupies less space than the original and improves the turning radius, and ads tire clearance.
The upper control arms are preassembled on new billet chromolly 4130 cross shafts and pivot sleeves. CPP is leading the industry with billet cross shaft and pivot sleeves that captures both sides of the bushing, unlike the originals that were only retained on one side of the bushing under the head of the bolt. As a result of the fully contained bushings, the arms are even stronger. Forces that would make other arms flex and twist are transferred through the bushings and easily handled by the billet cross shaft. CPP created a safety feature with an interlocking shaft and sleeve design that prevents the bolts from working loose even under severe stress created by hard corning. The arms are made from 1-1/4” 120 wall DOM tubing and have beefy 1-1/2” 188 wall pivot barrels. The continuous round cross section adds torsional rigidity. The beefy 1-1/2 .188 wall pivot barrels ensure the pivots will stay true and operate with maximum efficiency.
The, CPP exclusive pivot bushings are a patented self lubricating plastic that will not squeak, and has a working temperature of over 400°. These plastic bushings refuse to break during impact testing and can absorb high shocks loads that would otherwise be transferred thru the chassis.
The arms are made from 1-1/4” 120 wall DOM tubing and have beefy 1-1/2” 188 wall pivot barrels. CPP arms feature high quality TIG welds to ensure the best strength and appearance. The arms accept OE replacement ball joints.
This kit includes (4) one-piece 1-1/4” 120 wall DOM tubular control arms, new billet cross shaft assemblies, simple bolt-in 1/4” thick steel crossmember with forward mounting, 2 alignment cam kits, grade 8 hardware, and CPP’s low friction, long life bushings.

Now you can match the performance of your front disc brake kit with rear disc brakes and have the ultimate in stopping power and fade resistance. CPP kit for the 1963-70 two wheel drive and a 5-lug rear disc brake kit for the stock 1973-87 1/2 ton two wheel drive. Both are easy to install. Kits includes rotors, loaded calipers, caliper brackets, rear hardline kit, rubber brake hose kit and all mounting hardware. E-brake cables included. Note: Factory 6-lug applications had 7/16" dia. studs and 5 on 5-lug kits have 1/2" dia. studs. 1971-87 kit does not include lines or cables. Kit will also not work with early '63 trucks with pressed on backing plate.

The lower control arms have a helical stamped coil mount with an integral shock mount. The lower shock mount is incorporated into the stamped coil plate. The upper control arms are preassembled on new billet chromolly 4130 cross shafts and pivot sleeves. These tubular motor perches are a bolt in for small block V8 and LS1 Chevrolets. Made from heavy wall 1" tubing. The mounting flanges have a fully welded gusset to handle high horsepower applications. When converting to a small block you must use a late model short style engine pad. LS1 engines require the #CPLS1-K. These mounts provide more room in the engine bay to ease header installations and plumbing brake, trans, fuel, and other lines found in the frame rails. CPP Totally Tubular Rear Suspension Kit
Classic Performance now offers a complete rear suspension package for the 1963-72 Chevy Truck. This kit offers a wide range of benefits and a clean custom look. Benefits such as added exhaust clearance, increased ground clearance, corrected pinion angle, increased driveline clearance, adds torsional rigidity and additional strength. CPP’s tubular trailing arms are manufactured with a laser cut and formed spring platform fabricated to a CNC bent heavy wall 2” DOM tube body. The bushings are made of a “NEW” patented D-Spec heat resistant, self-lubricating material that offers long life and a remarkably quiet, comfortable ride.
The complete kit was designed with lowered trucks in mind, correcting the pinion angle that is affected with lowered coil and air springs. Both the trailing arms and crossmember are available separately. The crossmember will bolt into the original location and work with factory trailing arms. This will correct pinion angle associated with a lowered truck and offer 3” by 5” exhaust openings. The Trailing Arms will bolt up as a direct replacement for the original trailing arms and can be used with the original crossmember, rear axle and coil springs.
Package includes trailing arms, crossmember, C-notches, shock relocation kit, deluxe trac bar, lowering blocks, lowered shocks, axle perches, U-bolts, coil springs, and spring retainers (options include billet carrier bearing and bolt on carrier bearing bracket). Works with one or two piece drive shafts.

This complete assembly features front suspension clip with double rail, and mandrel-bent design that provides superior strength with higher durability. 1962-67 Nova Deluxe 4-Link Suspension Kit
This kit is a bolt-in system; no welding required (except axle brackets). You remove your original spring mounts and bump stop brackets, drill out the mounting holes and bolt it in. If you narrow your rear end (56") you can run 8" wide wheels with a 255 tire without tubing the car. 4-bars are 1' diameter .156 wall tubing with stainless steel adjusters. Kit includes stainless steel adjusters, urethane bushings, housing and frame brackets, heavy duty cross member with drive shaft loop, coil over shocks, track bar, and subframe connectors. CPP introduces its own line of 13” front Big Brake kits. The 13” front system uses a 13” cross-drilled, gas slotted and zinc washed rotor, mounted to a 2024 T6 billet aluminum CNC machined anodized hub and a PBR C15 caliper that attaches to the spindle with CPP custom caliper mounting brackets. PBR C15 calipers have twin 52mm pistons and a larger brake pad surface area that offers about 60% more stopping power in the caliper than the popular C5 caliper at half the cost. Big Brake kits require larger diameter disc brake type wheels: our 13” kit requires 17” wheels. (easy-to-use wheel template available).

In an exclusive partnership, CPP is now the only supplier in the world for GM AFX muscle car disc brake kits by Brembo.
Brembo's billet aluminum bels with their "float" busings allows the disc to seek its true centerline for consistent braking performance. The floating disc design reduces heat and stress transfer to wheel bearings and hubs. The two-piece rotor assemblies also reduce the un-sprung weight (approximately 8 lbs. per corner) for better handling, quicker response and better acceleration. The mounting system is designed to allow a specific amount of float in both radial an axial directions. Brembo has designed special anit-rattle springs that are used on every other fasterner in order to slightly preload the assembly, as well as preventing excessive noise from the system during street use. Brembo's high performance calipers have 4 sequentially sized pistons for even pad wear (40/44mm dia.), create zero off pedal drag, and are assembled with Ferodo high performance pads. The quiet running Ferodo street/track brake pads are suited for high end stret use as well as limited track application.
These systems works with OEM disc brake spindles and CPP Modular Drop Spindles. Fits 1964-72 Chevelle (and other GM "A" body), 1967-69 Camaro and 1968-74 Nova.

Eliminating the factory strut rods and adding adjustable forward control arm mounts, this kit adds stability, improved steering response and better ground clearance. Featuring a one-piece 1-1/4" 120 wall DOM tubular lower control arm, simple bolt-in 1/4" thick steel crossmember, two adjustable forward control arm mounts (same as rear) and CPP's low friction, long-life bushings. The one-piece crossmember ties both frame rails together by bolting in where the factory strut rod mount was located, providing additional strength and 2" of ground clearance. There is no cutting or welding required. A deluxe kit is available and includes upper control arm bushings, upper ball joints, lowered coil springs, spring perches and gas charged shocks. Sway bars are also available.

Disc Brake Wheel Kit
Our 6-lug disc brake kit contains all you'll need to put modern discs on your stock 1/2 ton spindles, and uses your stock hub. The 1-1/4" thick, 12" rotor uses a GM full-floating caliper. The 8" single diaphragm booster master cylinder and proportioning valve mounts in the stock location. We recommend that you upgrade the stock ball bearings to tapered roller bearings when using this kit. Some stock wheels may rub the caliper, it may be necessary to use a spacer. May not work with some stock wheels. Also, 1947-50 trucks may need to drill out lower spindle hole from 7/16" to 1/2". Note: Frame mount brake boosters may require #CP9424 transmission mount.

Big Bore Universal Calipers
CPP’s new big bore metric caliper is an all new design to replace the popular small piston GM metric (S10) caliper. The bore size has been increased to offer more than a 20% increase in stopping power. This new caliper is universal and can used on the left and right sides because the bleed screw and banjo fitting can be installed into either position. The casting has been cleaned up to make chrome, powder coat, or custom painting look even better. Extra ribs have been added internally while unnecessary weight was removed. This caliper is lighter, stronger, has more stopping power, universal, and fits any application that uses the small GM metric (S10) caliper. CPP’s calipers have all new parts and come loaded with standard D154 brake pads, clips, slide pins, banjo bolts, washers and bleeder screws (banjo and bleeder are 10mm-1.50). These calipers can replace D154 type GM metric calipers (1978-88 mid-size and 1983-02 S10) used on most Mustang II conversions (Note: mounting pin to mounting pin is 5.5"). Classic Performance Products is now shipping these new calipers with all their brake systems that use D154 type GM metric calipers. They can also be purchased separately as a performance upgrade.

1955-57 Fullsize - CPP 500 Series Steering Box
CPP’s new 500 Series power steering conversion gearbox is a modern alternative to the popular but outdated power steering box. This 14:1 ratio unit is a direct replacement upgrade and works with the ‘605’ conversion rag-joint. CPP's 500 Series box provides superior directional control and road feedback, as well as a more stable feel to the driver. CPP engineered the recirculating ball gears for low friction and increased steering response. An open centered, rotary type valve provides smooth operation throughout the steering range while retaining excellent road feel. The old power steering boxes have a snap ring at the sector gear that inevitably causes leaks due to movement of the sector shaft. Our 500 box has a bolt-on cap that allows zero movement and a dependable, leak free seal. Notice that the mounting bosses are integrated into the casting, eliminating the need for an external bracket. Also, it will line up perfectly to your column without shims. This is the very best gear-box available to convert your Tri-5 to power steering!

1958-64 Fullsize - Totally Tubular Control Arm Set
Designed to add 5º of caster while providing full wheel travel and minimal friction possible. Arm is made from 1-1/4” .120” wall D.O.M. tubing and the pivot barrels are thick 1-1/2” .188” wall D.O.M. tubing to eliminate distortion from welding and hard use. The bushings are made from self lubricating non-squeak patented plastic that will out last any rubber or urethane, and works at temperatures in excess of 400ºF. The billet 4140 alloy steel cross shafts and sleeves are zinc plated for lasting performance. The sleeves have an interlocking design that prevents the hardware from ever working loose. The pivots carry both forward and back loads (the original cross shaft pivot was designed to only carry a forward or back load, but not both). The control arm assemblies are a simple bolt-in installation with no modification required. Works with all factory and replacement power steering systems. Works with or without O.E. bump stops. Ball joints included.

Firewall Mount Power Brake Booster
Our firewall mount power brake booster kits are made to be compact and allow for clearance of any valve cover combination. Once installed the firewall, dash and steering column become triangulated making the entire assembly extremely rigid. The factory firewall to dash support must be removed.
Kit includes firewall mount bracket with pedal assembly, 8" dual power booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and all mounting hardware. Bracket also available separately. Please specify drum/drum, disc/drum or disc/disc.
Note: 1955-59 will work with factory E-brake handle assembly. Brake light switch required, see page 222 in our catalog.
Parts #4753FBB2-8D-S and #5455FBB2-8D-S include chrome master cylinder and proportioning valve, with polished stainless steel booster and proportioning valve bracket. Drum/drum does not include proportioning valve.

Proprotioning Valve Kits
Our proportioning valve has built-in residual check valves to prevent the brake fluid from draining back into the master cylinder. Under severe braking, the proportioning valve reduces the line pressure going to the rear brakes to help reduce rear wheel lockup. On rear drum brake systems it slows the application of the front discs to compensate for the slower reacting rear drums. This allows the front and rear brakes to be applied simultaneously. Kits include proportioning valve, lines, brackets and hardware. Please specify disc/drum or disc/disc when ordering.
