Fit wheels up to 13 inches wide on a Tri-Five Chevy. A combination of Classic Performance Products’ leaf spring relocation kit and Real Deal Steel’s wider wheel tubs will allow just that, offering 2-5/8 inches extra clearance each side of the car. With the new rear suspension installed in ProjecT '55 Revive, the time had come to swap out the old control arms and drum brakes up front, here’s how the new suspension and brakes went in.
The Currie Crate 9-inch rearend is in place, and '55 Revive is ready for the CPP Rear Disc Brake Kit to be installed. This complete kit is also designed for use with the stock 1955-1970 GM 10/12-bolt rear. It will also fit small or big bearing 9-inch applications and requires the use of a 16-inch or larger wheel to clear the calipers.
